This small semi-detached house is in the inner courtyard of a renovated medieval farm. It is situated in a pleasant rural environment with lots of walks and is ideal placed to visit the chateaus of Angers, Chinon and Saumur. The coast is about an hours drive and the Loire River 10kms. Saint Pierre-Montlimarts is the nearest town (5kms away) with restaurants and shops.
Accommodation consists of a living room with a single sofa bed with TV and an open planned kitchen. There is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and sink and a separate wc. Heating is electric and outside there is a terrace and garden furniture. There is also a shared tennis court for visitors use.This house has a no smoking policy

Chateau de la Coutancière is a beautiful and charming early 19th century château, which offers stylish and luxurious accommodation for groups up to 15 people. It is located in the centre of the Loire Valley which is famous for its castles and vineyards. Situated in its idyllic park of more than 11 ha, crossed by a small river with waterfall, this property has lots of privacy and charm.
The chateau is furnished and decorated with French antiques. The traditional gentlemen’s room and the hunting room provide the ideal setting for stylish relaxation. Furthermore the castle has three other sitting rooms (one with satellite TV, DVD, CD and internet access) and the dining room can seat 16 people at one impressive table! The castle’s kitchen is professionally equipped with amongst others an 8-burner Boretti cooker as well as microwave and dishwasher. The chateau has 10 bedrooms and sleeps up to 20 people. All bedrooms are furnished and decorated in style and each has its own warm character. The master bedroom has a queen sized double bed and bathroom en-suite; 9 bedrooms have twins or doubles with 'Lit Jumeaux' bedding used by hotels (twin beds joined for doubles or split for twins) making the property very flexible in changing the composition of the bedding in order to meet your specific desires i.e. doubles, twin rooms or singles.. There are also 4 bathrooms with toilet, bath and shower, a separate toilet and a separate shower room. Therefore the chateau is not only assessable for family groups, but makes it also ideal for companies and clubs, etc.
Outside the castle has extensive grounds with terraces and balcony, plus garden furniture and BBQ. There are bicycles on site as well a games room, outdoor chess and boules. The chateau is located quietly, yet in the middle of tourist area, with a variety of activities such as horse riding, golf (15kms near Saumur), hunting, fishing, cycling and walking. There is also a wide range of museums, castles (like Chateau de Montsoreau, that has been property of the former owners of Chateau de la Coutancière!) and vineyards. In short, everything is close by and nothing you need is missing - there is even a pool within 1kms. Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen included in price, cleaning 170 euros. If required it is also possible to have a chef and breakfast service. NB: Although there are 10 bedrooms the owner accepts a maximum of 15 unless agreed differently.

This unusual and unforgettable gite is in a square tower (110m2) built on the ruins of a medieavel tower, which was once owned by the family Gaubert who named it 'La Gaubertiere'. The property stands in an attractive large park with moats. There is lots to see in the area and there is a restaurant in St Paul with a market and shops in Vihiers which is just 10kms. There is a swimming pool within 15kms and golf within 30kms.
Inside there is a spiral stairway to reach all the floors. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with sofa chairs, library and fireplace, a dining/kitchen area with oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a bathroom with bah, sink and washing machine, plus a separate wc. On the first floor there is a double bedroom. On the second floor a twin room with sink and wc. Finally on the third floor there is another twin room with TV, sink and wc. The property has electric heating and outside there is a garden with terrace, garden furniture and BBQ.

This 18th century gite is ideally situated for a couple visiting the chateaux and vineyards of the Loire Valley or exploring the Atlantic Coast. There are lakes nearby for swimming plus many woodland walks in the area (maps available at the property) and is ideal for bird watching. The nearest town, Cande is 5 minutes drive which has all amenities including an indoor swimming pool and cycle hire.
This holiday gite is self-contained on the ground floor of a recently renovated 18th Century cottage. It is comfortably furnished and comprises a large lounge/dining room with English TV, video, DVD and stereo. There is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room (click to enlarge the photo for image), a separate WC and a fitted kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine etc. The gite is centrally heated and also has a wood burning fire in the lounge. It is ideally suited for two people and has a folding bed to accommodate a third person if necessary. Outside there is a small garden with furniture and off-road parking. The price includes bed linen and towels, electricity, gas, water and central heating.
This property is located in the centre of Angrie, a small village with a shop, baker and café/bar. It is 20 minutes drive North of the River Loire and just 30 minutes West of the attractive town of Angers. Approx distance in miles from Channel ports:
Roscoff 200, St Malo 100, Cherbourg 200, Caen 160, Le Havre 220, Dieppe 230, Calais 330. The nearest airports are Dinard 110, Nantes 55 and Tours 95 miles. The nearest railway is Angers 25 miles away which also has a TGV linking to Eurostar.
