This spacious detached farmhouse for 7/8 is in an ideal location for those who enjoy peace and tranquillity. It is situated just 3 miles from shops, café/bar and a restaurant. The house has recently been modernised and has the added advantage of 20 hectares of privately owned land giving complete privacy. The River Vienne runs through the grounds approximately 330 yards (300m) from the front of the house so also ideal for those who enjoy fishing!
On the ground floor is a large living room with an open fire and French doors opening on to the terrace and lawned garden. There is also colour satellite TV, video, radio and incoming telephone. The well equipped kitchen/dining room has a washing machine, microwave and freezer. There is a bathroom with shower and bath plus a separate toilet and basin. There is also a double bedroom. On the next floor are 3 bedrooms: 2 twin bed rooms and 1 single room. There is also a bathroom with shower over the bath, bidet, toilet and basin. Bedlinen and towels are provided. (If required, there is also a sofa bed in lounge.)
The immediate garden area to the front of the house is south facing and has a small pond and is well stocked with mature trees. There is an ample supply of garden furniture and a barbeque. This comfortable house has oil central heating and a woodburner in the lounge, so is ideal for all year around. All fuel and power is included in the rent from May to September but there is a €30 supplement from October to April. This property does not allow pets.

Sunset House offers Chambre d'hote with a pleasant garden and swimming pool in a small market town in the heart of Limousin. You will be able to experience first hand the peace and tranquility of the Limousin countryside and rural French living at its best! Whether you require a stop-over en-route, relaxing holiday, sightseeing break or house hunting you will be welcomed.
All the bedrooms are decorated to a high standard with individual touches and you will enjoy the English hospitality in a typically French setting, and encouraged to make yourselves at home. There are four bedrooms: one triple family bedroom and one kingsize en-suite bedroom and one fourposter double bedroom, and a family room sleeping four people. Continental breakfast is included in the price as well as complementory tea and coffee in the dining room for the duration of your stay. Guests have use of a spacious lounge which is traditionally decorated and has Sky TV, DVD player and a log burning stove for winter vacations. You can make yourself at home with drinks and snacks by the TV as the lounge is exclusively for our guests.
Sunset House also offers evening meals from 12 euros, Full English Breakfast for 6 euros, traditional Sunday Lunch, BBQs and a selection of wines, beers and soft drinks upon request.Plus Special House Hunting Discounts - please ask. Children under 6 free and discount for children under 12.
