This house is in a small hamlet just 4kms to Aigurande in the North of the Creuse. The town has shops, restaurants, supermarkets as well as a tourist office and is just 10 minutes drive away. The house is situated in a very quiet hamlet of about 6 houses with scenic views so is ideal for a quiet holiday and to explore this attractive department. As the house has central heating it is also suitable for out of season lets as well as the summer.
Accommodation consists of a lounge/dining room tiled throughout with original beams. There is a dining table and chairs as well as comfortable chairs plus french TV and a video. The open planned kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge and all the utensils. The bathroom has a bath, shower and a wahsing machine. There is also a separate toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one with a double and a single bed and the other with another double bed. All bed linen and gas and electricity is included in the rental. Outside there is a garden with garden furniture as well as a small barbecue.
Sights to see in the area include the Creuse Valley and Lake Chambon which is 20 minutes from the house and includes walking and cycling routes as well as sailing, swimming, fishing and water skiing. The market town of Argentomagus is 30 minutes away and has remains of the Roman city and a museum. La Brenne national park is within 30 mins and Limoge with its interesting city centre as well as airport is approx 75 mins away.
