This house (135m) is situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet area of Prades and it just 10 minutes stroll to the town centre. As its name implies the house has superb views from the living room and kitchen of the surrounding countryside and mountains and is ideal for families or anyone wishing to avoid the expense and bustle of resorts such as Nice or Curshevel. It is situated halfway between the Mediterranean Sea (45kms to the closest) and half a dozen Pyrenean Ski resorts so lots to do. The Lake Vinca is only 10kms away and there is a water sports park in Villeneuve-de-le-Raho (40kms). Prades, itself, is a cultural town holding events and festival throughout the year and for 2 weeks in July/August there is a large musical festival as well as a Catalan summer school with dancing in the square every night in August. The large and colourful market is on Tuesday and Saturday morning will give you local products and there is a good range of shops, cafes, restaurants as well as a large municipal swimming pool and tennis courts all within 1km. Add in casino and nightclub in the Spa town of Vernet les Bains, wine making villages within 6kms and you will have lots to see.
Accommodation consists of six rooms on two floors and will comfortably sleep up to 10 people but is also perfect for 3 couples travelling together and cozy enough for a couple (discounts are available out of season for couples). Heating or air-conditioning in all the rooms. and internet and telephone. There is a Dining/Living Room with satellite TV plus a range of settee and chairs and a table for up to 10 people. There is a separate well equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher which has just been renovated (2009). There are two double bedrooms on the first floor with a bathroom and a separate wc. Downstairs on the ground floor there are two further bedrooms - one double and one twin with wardrobes in each as well as a baby cot. There is also a further sitting room with a double sofa-bed and TV plus a shower room and another wc. There is a separate entrance to each floor. Outside there is a balcony and a BBQ and outside seating. The whole property is fenced and there is a games room with table tennis and a parking space for one other car plus a garden.
