This house (135m) is situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet area of Prades and it just 10 minutes stroll to the town centre. As its name implies the house has superb views from the living room and kitchen of the surrounding countryside and mountains and is ideal for families or anyone wishing to avoid the expense and bustle of resorts such as Nice or Curshevel. It is situated halfway between the Mediterranean Sea (45kms to the closest) and half a dozen Pyrenean Ski resorts so lots to do. The Lake Vinca is only 10kms away and there is a water sports park in Villeneuve-de-le-Raho (40kms). Prades, itself, is a cultural town holding events and festival throughout the year and for 2 weeks in July/August there is a large musical festival as well as a Catalan summer school with dancing in the square every night in August. The large and colourful market is on Tuesday and Saturday morning will give you local products and there is a good range of shops, cafes, restaurants as well as a large municipal swimming pool and tennis courts all within 1km. Add in casino and nightclub in the Spa town of Vernet les Bains, wine making villages within 6kms and you will have lots to see.
Accommodation consists of six rooms on two floors and will comfortably sleep up to 10 people but is also perfect for 3 couples travelling together and cozy enough for a couple (discounts are available out of season for couples). Heating or air-conditioning in all the rooms. and internet and telephone. There is a Dining/Living Room with satellite TV plus a range of settee and chairs and a table for up to 10 people. There is a separate well equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher which has just been renovated (2009). There are two double bedrooms on the first floor with a bathroom and a separate wc. Downstairs on the ground floor there are two further bedrooms - one double and one twin with wardrobes in each as well as a baby cot. There is also a further sitting room with a double sofa-bed and TV plus a shower room and another wc. There is a separate entrance to each floor. Outside there is a balcony and a BBQ and outside seating. The whole property is fenced and there is a games room with table tennis and a parking space for one other car plus a garden.

This two bedroomed split-level cottage is part of the charming catalan hamlet known as "Village Catalan", located in the foothills of the Canigou mountain (2785m), within 5 minutes walk of Vernet-les-Bains spa resort. With 300 days of sunshine per year and no pollution, it has the healthiest climate in France; Rudyard Kipling named it "Paradise of the Pyrenees". It is rich on history, culture and natural beauty.
The cottage is on two levels. On the ground there is a hall, WC, lounge with fireplace and exposed beams, small kitchen plus west-facing terrace with spectacular views of the mountains, the valley and the village. There are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom fitted with bath/shower and bidet plus a hall.
Bedroom one has a double bed 190x140cm and bedroom two has 2 single beds 190x90 cm. There is also a double convertible sofa bed in the lounge. The house has individual electric heating throughout.
Outside our guests can use the Village Catalan shared facilities, such as the swimming pool, table tennis, barbecue, washing machines, a garden area, reception services. There is also direct access to the footpaths of the Canigou Nature Reserve. Other facilities within walking distance include hot springs thermal centre, jazuzzi, sauna, a large public swimmingpool, arboretum parks, several restaurants, shops, market 3 times a week, and a casino. There is also plenty to do in this area of France: hiking, mountain-biking, swimming, canyoning, abseiling, climbing courses, adventure trail, horse-riding, spa-treatment, nature photography walks with instructor, bird-watching, guided culture and history walks, spa & wellness including stress management, l'art de vivre, wine & gastronomy, eco-tourism courses - or simply relaxation in beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Linen can be provided if required at 12 euros p.p.

This holiday home is in Les Jardins du Rivages residence in Le Barcares. Situated between the salt water lake and the Mediterranean, Port Barcares is a lakeside village that offers a very original style of holiday with lots to do. There is an 8kms sandy beach and plenty of watersports. On the xomplex there is also a swimming pool (open from mid-May to mid-October), plus tennis courts and table tennis.
The villas have a floor surface area of 60m2 and consist of a hall and wc with a downstairs double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and washbasin. The living room is well equipped with CD player, DVD, TV and VCR and there is a modern open planned kitchen with table and chairs as well as dishwasher and microwave. On the first floor there is another double bed with washbasin and a bunk bedroom. Outside there is a private fenced garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Bicycles can be hired. Electricity and water are charged according to consumption and cleaning if 55 euros.
