This is in the Burgundy region, between Vezelay and Avallon, in the 'Parc Natural Regional du Morvan' . The nearest airport is Dijon or Auxerre. The basilica of Vezelay; the Cistercians Abbeys of Fontenay, Citaux and Pontigny; the medieval castle of Bzoches, Chastelux, Epoiss; and of course the picturesque landscapes of the region.
Accommodation consists of a living room with 2 single sofa beds, TV and Hi Fi. There is a well equipped kitchen (oven and microwave), a twin and double room and a separate bathroom with bath, sink and wc. The apartment has central heating as well as a terrace and garden. The park is next to the River Yonne and the surrounding area is perfect for walking, fishing, kayaking, golf and discovering Burgundy and its wine cellars. This tastefully decorated and very comfortable large house is located in the wine area of Burgundy in a rural area just outside a small village. The house has been sympathetically restored leaving beamed ceilings of oak, the original chimney in the kitchen and stone walls. The house also has a heated private swimming pool (12m x 6m) set in a plesant well kept garden with terraces and anautomatic water sprinkling system for the flowerbeads.
Accommodation consists of a living room with satellite TV, fire place, VCR and DVD player. The separate dining room also has a large fireplace. The well equipped kitchen has an oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a separate wc, a utility room with dryer and washing machine and a separate covered verandah with table and chairs. Upstairs there is a double en-suite with shower unit in the bath, sink and wc, a further double bedroom, a twin bedroom with shower and sink, a triple room (single and bunk beds) also has shower and sink. The final bedroom is for 4 with 2 singles and bunk beds and shower and sink. The house has central heating and outside there is a fenced garden, garden furniture and of course the pool.
Within 15km radius of the house are woods, lovely villages, castles, a big recreation lane and nature parks. The Parc de Boutissaint within 9kms from Saint Fargeau has a 400 hectare centuries old forest with great walks and abundant with wildlife. Also in Saint Fargeau, the capital city of the area 'de Puisaye' there is an annual 'son et lumiere' in July and August at the castle with more than 600 actors and 60 horses. Add to this great cuisine and wine and this is an ideal location for your summer holidays.Please note this is a non-smoking house. Other facilities: Linen and towel hire is available for 4.50 euros p.p. and there is a cot, high chair and playpen available if required.

This 19th century manor house is ideally situated in the Vanne Valley not far from Troyes. It is surrounded by a wooded park of about a hectare giving lots of space and privacy. It is also very close to the centre of the town with its shops. Behind the house there is a communal tennis court. There is lots to see in this area. Closeby you will find Fontinebleau, the town of Troyes en Champagne, Sens, the forest of Lancy and Vauluisant Abbey.
There are sweeping stone stairs leading to the hallway. Off this there are two sitting rooms. One has a closed fireplace (wood burning style stove) and an open fireplace. Both rooms are decorated well with settees and chairs in an asian and french style. There is a piano in one of the rooms. The separate dining room has a large long table with chairs and sideboards. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, microwave and dishwasher. It also has a circular table for breakfast. There is a downstairs wc and a utility room with washing machine plus a further storage room with a sink. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms - a twin, single, 2 double and a triple bedroom (double + single). There are also 2 bathrooms - one with bath, shower, sink and toilet and the other with shower, sink and toilet. This house has central heating. Outside there is a fenced garden, garden furniture and a children's play area. There is also a garage. Electricity, bath towels and kitchen linen included in the rental price. Bed linen is 10 euros p.p. per stay and cleaning 70 euros.
