This small and simple holiday cottage is impeccably clean and a good base for exploring the area. It is located in the town of Audierne in the Finistere region of Brittany on the North West coastline. This is a great location for a seaside holiday, with the sea only a 25 min stroll (for those active types) or 5 minutes away by car. Though off the beaten tourist track (no crowds, no big hotels), the area is much sought after for its beaches and water sports. The nearby coast features exquisite white sand beaches, quiet coves, fishing ports and a cliff path giving superb views over the Bay of Audierne. This is an unspoiled part of France, proud of its heritage, welcoming to guests and free of crowds, huge hotels and over-crowding. Audierne has village shops, bars and restaurants, and a lively Saturday market selling local produce, seafood, cheese, local hard cider and charcuterie. There is a bakery just around the corner for your morning croissant. There is a river and footpaths through the woods and many miles of pathways along the coast for walking or cycling.
Accommodation consists of a small galley kitchen which is fully equipped with all that you will need to take advantage of the wonderful seafood and produce available. This includes a gas hobb, electric oven, microwave, full-sized fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster. There is seating for 4-6 at the table adjacent to the kitchen. There is also a lounge with comfortable furniture which is decorated in warm soft colours. It contains a sofa-bed, an armchair as well as a dining table and chairs for up to 6. A TV and DVD player are available. There is also a bathroom with shower and tub as well as a separate WC. All linens and towels are provided. There are 3 bedrooms. which are sunny and decorated with lace curtains at the blue-shuttered windows. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The main bedroom contains a queen bed. The second bedroom on this floor is very small and contains a single/twin bed. The first floor also contains a WC on the landing. The top-floor bedroom runs the length of the house. It is nestled under the roof and is well-lit by a sloping skylight. It contains two singe/twin beds.
Outside, although the cottage does not have its own garden, it is so close to the beach that it is never missed. There is street parking for one car and electric heating. Please note there is a 70 euros cleaning fee per booking.

This small holiday cottage is situated in the 'Naturel Regional d'Amorique' and has wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. It is a good position to explore the Finistere region and the local village of Scrignac is only 5 minutes away by car and has an excellent restaurant, bar, local shop and pharmacy. Within a 15/20 minute walk there is also a small hamlet with an English speaking bar and restaurant. Huelgoat with wonderful forest walks, lake, supermarket, restaurants and bars is 10 minutes away by car. Both the North and Atlantic coasts are within easy reach, and the historic towns of Morlaix and Carhaix are only 20 minutes away. Roscoff is a 45 minute drive and St Malo about 2 hours and Breast airport 45 minutes.
Accommodations consists of a living room with a fully equipped kitchen including gas hob and oven, microwave, full sized fridge, kettle and toaster. There is seating for four at the table and a comfortable armchair and cottage sofa. For heating out of season, there is central heating as well as a cosy fireplace and electric heater and large radiator. An English TV and DVD player are available. Upstairs there is a double bed with ensuite shower and wc.
Outside there is a small patio area, adjacent to the owners field, with a table and chairs plus a BBQ. This has great views across the countryside. The garden is shared with the English owners who are next door but your privacy is important to them. There is also ample parking at the back of the property. All linen and towels are provided and a washing machine is available at the owners house.
En-suite B&B is also available in the owners house next door if required
