Set in a small hamlet, amid tranquil countryside, this attractive stone cottage is one of two which has been carefully restored and stand in pretty flower filled gardens. The cottages are within 2kms of St Gilles du Mene which has bars, a restaurant and shops and 15kms NE of Loudéac which has all services. St Malo is within an hour and Dinard airport within 50 mins. There are secluded terraces to both cottages for outdoor relaxing and dining. The extensive gardens and grassy grounds with fields and woods beyond are sometimes shared with the helpful English owners who live nearby. Only a few minutes' walk from the cottages, is a well stocked fishing lake set in landscaped gardens which is a pleasant place for evening strolls, whilst the surrounding woods and countryside are ideal for cycling and longer walks. The North Brittany coast is half an hour away with its many beautiful sandy beaches, fishing ports, bars and first class dining. Inland there are many places of interest; Lamballe with its busy market, the medieval town of Moncontour and the Abbey at Boquen are all within a short drive. Golf, horse riding and canoeing are all available nearby. Mountain bikes are available for hire.
The interiors of the cottages are light and airy, the open planned living/dining rooms have ample comfortable seating, and woodburning stoves. There is also a CD/stereo, TV with videos and DVDs. The well equipped kitchen has a microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with wc and shower over the bath and a twin bedroom with a separate bathroom/wc with shower over bath.
Both cottages have gardens, a separate terrace and the large lake suitable for fishing is within 200m from the property (Please take care with children). There is also garden furniture and BBQs. Short and weekend breaks welcomed throughout the year. New for 2009 there is a 20% discount in 2009 to couples for a full week all year (except July and August.)

This attractive large 17th century abbey sleeps from 12 to 15 people and is surrounded by 15 hectares of parklands with hundred year old trees. Located within 10kms from the sea the abbey is sympathetically furnished. There is lots to do in and around the area. There is a private tennis court, walking and cycle trips and a forest just 150m from the house to explore. Golf is within 5kms and the medieval town of Dinan is just 10kms away. Dinard and St Malo just 25kms and Mont St Michel about 1 hour away
Accommodation consists of a hallway and 2 sitting rooms. One with a fire place and HiFi and the other with another TV, fireplace and VCR. There is a separate dining room and a well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, dryer and washing machine. There is also a separate wc. On the first floor there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 interconnecting bedrooms with single beds, bath, shower and sink. There is also another wc. On the second floor there is another double room en-suite with bath, shower and sink and 2 twin rooms (one with a sink) and a single room with a sink. The house has central heating and bed linen and bath towels can be hired if required.
Outside there is a large garden, terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. There is also a private tennis court, table tennis and a garage. Energy/gas/electric is inclusive in the summer but early and late season/winter there might be a supplement.

Maison Ar Mor is a 200 year old stone cottage in the beautiful seaside town of Tregastel on Brittany's spectacular Cote de Granit Rose (Pink Granite Coast). It is 10 minutes walk to the beach as well as the shops and a large leisure centre with indoor pool. It offers a well priced property close to the sea.

The historic town of Guingamp is the nearest large town (10 minutes by car) and contains all the leading hyper-markets and in the medieval centre an excellent range of shops, superb restaurants and bars.
Geranium has one bedroom and sleeps up to 3 people. There is a large double bed and a single bed ideal for a child. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, toast, kettle, etc. There is also a kitchen/dining table and a comfortable lounge area with combi TV and Video. Upstairs there is a bath/shower and toilet. The front looks South over open countryside and each cottage has their own terrace with table and chairs. All of the cottages have their own heating system for the colder months. Lastly, for keen fisherman, there is trout and salmon fishing on two of the finest picturesque rivers in France plus lake fishing within an easy drive. We can offer advise on good locations and where to go for other species such as carp, pike and match fishing. Prices include gas but electricity is charged at 20euros per KWH . There are two machines for use on site. Bed linen is available at £7.50 pppw.
