This chalet is one of 20 situated besides a lake in the beautiful environment of the Auvergne natural volcanic park. The park also has camping and a large open air swimming pool (heated in July & Aug) as well as excellent facilities including a tennis court, boules, table tennis, children's play area and fishing. Closeby you can cycle, climb (up the Puy-de-Dôme and to the top of the Cantal mountains), ride and there are lots of paths for walkers. You can also visit the Lastioulles sailing centre; explore the various museums (Scénopark IO; animal park, the natural environment and man; Vulcania); explore the small town of Riom ès Montagnes (Gentian capital 7 km away); visit the Bort les Orgues Dam and the beautiful Val Chateau. There are shops in Menet (1km) and the nearest airport is Clermont-Ferrand (100 kms).
Each wooden chalet (36m2) is simply equipped and is suitable for one or two families with children. There is an open planned small kitchenette with an oven and a living/dining room with a settee and dining table and chairs for 6. There is a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom as well as a bathroom with shower, sink and wc. Upstairs, within the roof there is a twin bedroom. The heating is electric and outside there is a small terrace (6m2) facing the lake with garden furniture and parking. The parking has a laundry area with washing machines.
Electricity and gas is included, you can hire TVs, BBQs and cots

This detached house (96m2) has views over the Lac de St Etiennes Cantalles and is surrounded by splendid views and spectacular scenery. The area is known for its culinary expertise as well as the Cantal cheese! The house is on a large plot 1200m2 and there is a hard tennis court in the neighbourhood which is free to use as well as a canoe at your disposal. There is a golf course within 15kms.
Accommodation consists of a hall, a living room with TV, fireplace and comfortable sofa and chairs. The kitchen has a combi microwave and oven as well as a dishwasher. There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room with 2 bathrooms - one with a bath, 2 sinks and a bidet; the other with shower and sink. In the basement there is a wahsing machine. Outside there is a terrace with table and chairs with views over the lake. Laroquebrou and Le Rouget are both within 10kms and have restaurants and shops. This house is not available in the winter.
