This new apartment (60m2) is on the ground floor of a villa with its own private entrance and sleeps up to 4 comfortably with 2 bedrooms. Positioned in a quiet location just 1 miles from Mensignac which has baker, butcher, supermarket, bistro, bar, chemist and PO the apartment has lovely views of the countryside. It is also within 15 minutes from Perigueux town centre with its museums, restaurants and famous cathedral and roman ruins. Within 30 minutes in the other direction is the historic and pretty town of Brantome also known as the Venice du Perigord. Bordeaux and Sarlat are within 1.5 hours and Bergerac 1 hour. There are lots of activities to do closeby - horse riding, tennis, golf (6 miles away), walking and canoeing to name a few. There is a large outdoor pool within 7 miles.
Accommodation consists of a comfortable open planned living/dining area with TV, DVD and comfortable settee and chairs. There is also a dining table and chairs for 4. The corner kitchen is well equipped with full sized oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is also hob gas, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. La Germanie is in a small hamlet and there are two adjoining properites sleeping up to 14 with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms a large secluded and private garden and a private swimming pool. This is a large country house built around 1820 and completely renovated in the 1980s. It has lovely views over the surrounding countryside and is within an hour of Bergerac and Angouleme airports.
Accommodation consists of La Grange and La Pigeonnier:
La Grange has a large, airy modern kitchen with double doors into the garden and has fitted oak units. There is a large dining table and seating for 8 with a dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer. The living room has high ceiling and beams and a large corner fireplace. The house also has Freeview satellie TV with English and French channels as well as a DVD player plus comfortable lounge seating. The four large bedrooms have superb views over the surrounding countryside - there are 2 doubles and 2 twins. There is also two bathroom - one with walk-in shower and 2 wcs. There is a wood burning fire and full gas central heating and between October-April there is an additional cost of £30 if heating is required.
Le Pigeonnier consists of a modern kitchen/dining area with seating up to 6. There is a cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer plus kettle and toaster. The large living room has a comfortable seating with 2 futon sofa beds as well as satellite TV (English and French channels) and DVD. For sunbathing, evening meals or drink, sunsets or star-gazing there is a large child-friendly balancy with a commanding view of the surrounding area and the garden. There is a separate wc on this floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, again with lovel views of the countryside. One has a large sleigh double bed and the other has 2 single beds. There is also a bathroom on this floor.
Outside there is a large patio with a BBQ. There is also a computer and laundry facilities with washing machine and clothes dryer. The outdoor swimming pool (8x4m) with sun loungers has an alarm and the terraced garden is secluded and surrounded by a tall hedge making it quiet and very private.All bed linen and towels are provided but not swimming towels. Chez Tendaud is a fully restored farmhouse with a private pool and is situated in Perigord Vert (Dordogne), around which are a wealth of attractive villages and towns to be explored. This superb semi-detached cottage is part of a 19th century Perigord Farmhouse situated on a south facing hill with fantastic views overlooking a listed village and the surrounding countryside. This property is well furnished and retains its original features with oak beams, stone walls and is tiled downstairs with wooden floors upstairs.
