These chalets are on one of Europe's leading international nature reserves and fishing centres and therefore 'the place' for keen fishermen and women! Pescalis provides more than a 100 hectares of specialist pools and with lots of tourist attractions closeby is ideal for those who wish to combine the passion for fishing with a sight seeing holiday. The park has an open air pool, shops, bike hire, bar, play area, cinema, boules and 3 restaurants. The nearest town is Moncoutant (2kms) with restaurants, market and shop.
There is a range of accommodation available. These apartments accommodate up to 4 people and are situated on the first floor or ground floor. They are 40m2 with a terrace the same size. There is also a shared fishing room with washbasin, worktop and small refrigerator shared betweeen 2 apatments. Accommodation consists of a living room with a pull out bed for one person and a single sofa bed with a TV. The kitchen has a microwave and dishwasher. There is also a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, sink and wc. The heating is electric. Gas and electricity included in the rental price, bed linen and towels can be hired. There is also a tourist tax.

Set in its own grounds and recently renovated to a very high standard this farmhouse with shared pool sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. It is situated just 3 miles from the historic town of Melle which has shops, restaurants, local market as well as a cinema and squash courts. The town also has three historical churches and the old royal silver mines. Niort is a 30 minutes drive and the fabulous sandy beaches of the Charente-Maritime and La Rochelle are all within an hour's drive.
Accommodation consists of a lounge which is extremely spacious with a spiral staircase leading up to a mezzanine level. The high ceiling and tiled floor keep the room cool and airy – perfect for escaping the midday sun. Four large sofas and an armchair provide enough seating for everyone plus TV, DVD player, video and music system. There is also a good collection of DVD's, CDs and videos. At the front of the lounge is a sun room, a pleasant area for breakfast. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with an electric oven (or for the more adventurous) a wood burning stove, a hob (part gas/part electric) and a microwave. There is also a fridge/freezer, a coffee maker, electric juicer, toaster and an extensive range of cooking utensils. The separate dining room is pleasant, uncluttered and has a table to comfortably seat 10 people. There are four bedrooms - Two doubles and two twins. A travel cot can also be supplied if necessary. Each bedroom has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a blanket box, as well as a fan or wall heater depending on the time of year. The ground floor bedroom has a wood-burning fireplace as well. There are two bathrooms in the farmhouse. Both are newly converted and are fully tiled with modern furnishings. There are two bathrooms: one on the ground floor has a bath while the first floor bathroom contains a shower.
The gardens are across three terraces. There is an abundance of fruit trees and the swimming pool is 28ft long x 15ft wide and 4ft.25in deep. It is in a secluded, sunny corner of the garden with sun loungers, table and chairs. There is also a BBQ and a large games room (table tennis, pool table, darts, table football and beer fridge). The washroom is equipped with a washer and dryer. This house can be let with a studio (reference 1220) to make a property for 10 if required. More photos are available on request.

A large two bedroomed cottage with beamed ceilings. The two bedrooms are both en-suite, one double and one twin. Downstairs is a large sitting/dining room with wood burning stove and central heating onto which a well equipped kitchen opens which includes a microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The cottage overlooks the swimming pool and gardens.
This cottage is one of three at Les Jincheres. All cottages have barbecue areas and equipment and equal use of the swimming pool and lake areas. The swimming pool is fenced and gated. For those wanting a quiet moment the tranquil setting of the lake is set apart by hedges, fence, stream and gate.
Bread and croissants arrive six times a week in the high season. Other amenities (bakers, supermarkets, pharmacies etc) are in Absie (3kms), Secondigny (16kms), Moncoutant (14 kms) and La Chataignerie (12 kms). Linen Hire is also available. Open all year for families or groups. Le Logis du Meunier can be let to just 2 or 3 people from £280-£390 depending on availability but not July/August.

Situated in the heart of Poitou Charente, this holiday park is an ideal holiday spot for families with lots to see and do. In the area you are close to La Rochelle and its islands (ile de Re and d'Oleron), Le Marais, Cognac, Poiters and Futurescope (large entertainment park). The holiday park is well spread-out around a fishing lake measuring 3 hectares and set in woods spreading over 21 acres. There are 20 identical chalets (32m2) with a 15m2 terrace. The park also has an indoor heated swimming pool (14 x 5m), a bar-restaurant, mini-golf and numerous activities including boules, beach-volleyball, hire of mountain bikes, children's playground, pony rides and, of course, fishing in the lake.
Accommodation consists of a living room with double sofa bed and an open plan kitchen with kitchen table and chairs, oven and microwave. There is a double bedroom and a bedroom with twin beds, plus a bathroom with shower and sink and a wc. Each chalet has electric heating and a covered terrace with table and chairs.Heating is inclusive in the summer otherwise to expenditure. You can hire bedlinen, towels and kitchen linen if required.

The bedroom is partly closed from the rest of the Studio by two wicker screens.
Outside there is a large garden and the swimming pool is 28ft long x 15ft wide and 4ft.25in deep. It is in a secluded, sunny corner of the garden with sun loungers, table and chairs.
