This recently restored stunning 18th century house formed part of the original Orangerie which was later converted to accommodate some of the staff who worked at the fortified chateau that still stands close to the property. With 7 double bedrooms and 8 bathrooms the house sleeps 16 comfortably and has recently been fully restored and furnished to a high standard. With its fully enclosed and private walled gardens (shared with adjacent caretaker cottage) L'Orangerie provides a quiet and relaxing location for you to enjoy your stay in the stunning 'Suisse Normande' area, close to the River Orne.
Accommodation consists of a separate living room with large stone fireplace and log stove. There is also a well equipped kitchen/dining room with fitted kitchen, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There is a double bedroom with an additional bed/dressing room adjacent to the downstairs bedroom which is suitable for a cot. Upstairs there are six further bedrooms.
Outside there is a walled rear garden with BBQ area and ample parking. The house also has electric heating throughout. Other facilities include weekly cleaning and linen/towel change; tea and coffee on arrival; under cover parking/games area and a Cot & Highchair on request. Cycles can be hired for £10 per week.
Prices include electricity, heating, water, normal cleaning, bed linen and towels. Non-smoking.

This detached cottage sleeping up to 6 has been recently lovingly refurbished to match the features of the main Columbage house and has a 8x4m swimming pool. It is well situated in the commune of Neuville sur Touques 5kms from Vimoutiers and Gace which both have shops and restaurants. This cottage is in the beautiful and picturesque Orne region of Normandy, bordering Calvados and the Pays d'Auge and is easily accesible from the Le Harve, Caen, Cherbourg, or in less than 3.5 hrs from Calais with the new A28 motorway. The nearest beach is within 60kms.
On the ground floor there is an open plan living area with a double sofabed and seating for 4 people plus TV. The dining area has a table and seating for up to 8 people. There is a very well equipped modern and fitted kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. dining table and chairs, cutlery and crockery for eight people. There is also a toilet and shower room with washing machine. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a toilet and shower room. One is a master bedroom (double or two singles as required) which has extra space for a further small bed if needed. The other bedroom has twin beds. Both rooms have nice views across the countryside and face the sun as it sets. This gite has gas central heating and is well insulated so ideal for out of season lets as well. There are French windows leading out of the main living area onto the fenced garden, which has ample room to play, rest and relax. There is a BBQ, child's swing, garden furniture, table tennis, full sized table football and a 8m x 4m above ground swimming pool. There is also plenty of parking. Linen is provided and please note there is a non-smoking policy inside the house.

Situated in the listed village of Sainte Gauburge in the St Cry La Rosiere commune, this large manor house was built between 1134 and 1590. Completely renovated between 1999 and 2002 the property combines many original features with modern facilities. It is ideally located for peace and tranquility and faces due South with open views. There is much to see in the area. Chatea d'Alencon, the Cathedral of Sees and the Cathedral at Chatres are all reasonably close. Due to the new autoroute it is also within easy reach of Le Mans as well as the Loire Valley. The nearest swimming pool is 5kms and markets and shops can be found in Nogent le Rotrou and Belleme 10kms away.
Accommodation includes a large sitting room with a fireplace and a range of sofas including a double sofa bed. There is also good facilities with satellite TV, VCR, DVD and HiFi. The dining room has a large table and chairs as well as another large fireplace. The kitchen has an oven and microwave and there is a separate storage room with dishwasher, dryer and washing machine. There are also 2 wcs with sinks downstairs.
Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms - one with a fireplace and HiFi. There is also a twin bedroom with TV, a bedroom ideal for children with a single, bunk beds and double sofa bed plus TV. There are 3 bathrooms with shower and sink and 2 bathrooms with bath and sink and 2 wcs. On the top floor there is a further double bedroom. This house has gas central heating and bath towels and kitchen linen is included in the price but not sheets which are 8 euros p.p. per stay.
Outside there is a courtyard, parking and a fenced garden with garden furniture, BBQ as well as table tennis. The nearest golf course is within 10kms.
