Only 25 minutes from Cherbourg Port this stone long house is ideally situated in the middle of the Normandy Peninsula. St Sauveur and Valognes are both within 10 minutes drive and the D-Day beaches are 20 minutes as are the West Coast beaches.
This cottage has a large open plan living room with comfortable sofas/sofa-bed situated around the log burner, a dining area with table/chairs for 6 and a newly refurbished (summer 2008) kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher etc incl. There is also a compact pool/table tennis table available for those indoor sporty moments!
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with exposed beams, both of which have spectacular views over the countryside to the south. The master bedroom features a large built-in wardrobe/cupboard offering plenty of storage space for clothing etc. Also upstairs is a fully renovated luxury shower/toilet room with an additional renovated cloakroom downstairs. The sleeping accommodation is newly decorated and all rooms have wooden floors with rugs. Electric heating is fitted in every room. Its location is ideal for strolling on the beach along the wild coastline or for playing golf.
