Besides the Lot River, this 17th century chateau has been completely restored and has a number of apartments, of which this is one. The chateau, which has excellent facilities including a swimming pool, is the focal point of the town of St Geniez d'Olt which has good facilities and is situated North East of Rodez. This is an ideal place to relax, soak up the peaceful environment and yet also take part in the many activites on offer in the area. You can walk to a number of restaurants, shops and local market, plus the town has a cinema and nightclub. It is ideal to explore the heart of the Lot valley as well as the Les Causses and Aubrac Plateau nature areas.
This apartment is suitable for up to 4 people. On the ground floor there is an open planned living room with double sofa bed, TV and dining table and chairs. The modern kitchen is well equipped with microwave and dishwasher. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a shower room and a separate wc. The chateau has a reception area, plenty of parking and a swimming pool with sun loungers and table and chairs. Some of these apartments have disabled access.

This renovated barn has been converted into a pleasant detached house at the end of a small road offering peace and tranquility and yet is only 7kms from Conques. Conques belongs to one of the prettiest villages in France category and have concerts in the summer in the splendid Romanesque abbey church. The house is light and airy with fantastic views over rollings hills and the valleys below which are full of chestnut trees. There are also lots of walking paths, including a walk to Conques via the pilgrim's path (one of the main stops from Le Puy to Santiago de Compostela) which takes about 90 minutes. Rodez and the airport is within 45kms.
The house is on several levels and consists of a large living room which is tiled throughout with a french window leading to the outside terrace. There is a settee, CD and radio as well as a dining table and chairs. The open planned kitchen has an oven and dishwasher and there is a separate utility room with sink and washing machine. There is a twin bedroom with a private terrace. Upstairs, on the first floor, there is a double bedroom with a balcony and two bathrooms (one with a shower unit in the bath with sink and wc and the other with a shower, sink and wc. On the second floor there is a further single bedroom. Outside there is a guest house which has a living room which can be used as further living space or as a bedroom as it has 3 single beds and a bathroom with shower and sink plus a separate wc. There is a further terrace. The house has heating under the floor and bedlinen, gas and electricity is included in the price.

A 200 year old renovated stone cottage, facing south with glorious views overlooking the River Lot. The picturesque village of Le Fel is about 1 mile up the hill with two good restaurants and tennis courts. Entraygues is 5 miles along the river. Every room in the cottage has wonderful views both of the river and the natural woodlands on the valley slopes. The oval pool (10x4m) is in a sheltered, sunny position with good seclusion for sun bathing.
The accommodation is very comfortably furnished. The entrance doorway opens onto the sitting room which has an inglenook fireplace with log burning stove, 3-piece suite, colour UK TV and DVD. From here, French windows lead out to the veranda with stunning views perched high, south facing and overlooking the river below. A wonderful place for al fresco meals.
From the sitting room an archway leads through to the dining room with dining table and chairs and dresser and through a further arch into the kitchen with fitted units housing dishwasher, refrigerator, electric oven and gas hob and microwave. There is a good sized downstairs bedroom which has twin beds. Also a ground floor shower room with WC plus automatic washing machine. Stairs from the sitting room lead to 2 large bedrooms, both with Velux windows overlooking the river and surrounding hills. Upstairs is a WC and hand basin.
Towels and linen are provided and all service costs are inclusive. Pool towels are also included.
The garden mainly consists of grassy areas on different levels. There is ample parking for 2 cars which can be reversed up to within 2 metres of the cottage front door.

This semi-detached stone village house is situated in the historic 12th century village of Cantobre and has recently been renovated (2005). The owners live next door so can help with advice on the area. It is set amidst spectacular countryside on a rocky promontory some 100 meters overlooking the meeting of the Dourbie and Trevezel rivers. It is 50kms from the nearest airport and 15kms to the new A75 Paris to Med Autoroute. Swimming is available in the river 500m from the house and there is a heated outdoor pool in Nant 6kms away in July and August.
Accommodation consists of a large dining/sitting room with an open planned modern and well equipped kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, dish washer) and a wood burning stove. There are two double bedrooms and a toilet shower room in the main house. All rooms have electric radiators. There are two further bedrooms. The first is entered from the terrace and is a twin with a separate toilet and shower. The second larger bedroom is accessed from the path to the house and contains a double bed and its own toilet and shower room. This arrangement gives great flexibility when renting this property. The minimum being 2 people but with the possibility of up to 9 people as an extra single bed can be placed in the bedroom accessed from the path. Outside the property has a large south facing terrace (100m2) with BBQ and garden furniture, which overlooks the village square and down the Dourbie valley.
This house has a satellite television, radio and CD player. A washing machine and dryer is also available for the use of the guests. Weekly fresh linen and towels are provided and the house is cleaned each Saturday. Electric, cooking gas and wood for the stove are all included. A baby cot, high chair and a baby-sitter service (20 euros per stay) is also available if required. Pets are charged 20 euros per week. There is a £105 discount for 2-6 in High Season; £70 other times. There is a 10% discount for 2 weeks 15% for 3 weeks.
